The 3D release will include a 3D Blu-ray, a standard Blu-ray, a DVD and an UltraViolet cloud streaming digital copy of the film. The Blu-ray and 3D Blu-ray are combo packs. The DVD includes an anamorphic widescreen presentation, and 5.1 Dolby Digital audio. Wrath of the Titans comes to BD presented in 1080p high definition, packed with a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track. Enlisting the help of the warrior Queen Andromeda (Rosamund Pike), Poseidon's demigod son, Argenor (Toby Kebbell), and fallen gob Hephaestus (Bill Nighy), Perseus bravely embarks on a treacherous quest into the underworld to rescue Zeus, overthrow the Titans and save mankind.' The Titans' strength grows stronger as Zeus' remaining godly powers are siphoned, and hell is unleashed on earth. Perseus cannot ignore his true calling when Hades, along with Zeus' godly son, Ares (Edgar Ramrez), switch loyalties and make a deal, with kronos to capture Zeus. The triumvirate had overthrown their powerful father long ago, leaving him to rot in the gloomy abyss of Tartarus, a dungeon that lies deep within the cavernous underworld. Dangerously weakened by humanity's lack of devotion, the gods are losing control of the imprisoned Titans and their ferocious leader, Kronos, father of the long-ruling brothers Zeus, Hades (Ralph Fiennes) and Poseidon (Danny Huston). Meanwhile, a struggle for supremacy rages between the gods and the Titans. The sequel, from director Jonathan Liebesman, was not as successful as the original remake, Clash of the Titans, but did prove profitable thanks to the overseas market. Warner Home Video will release Wrath of the Titans on Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray, DVD and digital download on June 26, 2012.
